Disciplinary Standards
Our universal disciplinary standards.
To maintain professional standards across the board, the criteria for misconduct and the mechanism for investigating it must be uniform. Whether it's a medical malpractice claim or a police brutality complaint, the process looks the same.
Evidence Requirements
For any internal investigation, the department must mandate what constitutes valid evidence. (e.g., Bodycam/Dashcam footage, or clips.) to evaluate if department policy was broken.
Universal Disciplinary Matrix
Departments are expected to structure their own internal disciplinary guidelines, however we have provided a universal one below to structure off of.
| Infraction Severity | Example Behavior | Recommended Action |
|---|---|---|
| Low (Class 1) | Continued minor uniform violation, continued minor radio clutter. | Verbal Warning / Retraining |
| Medium (Class 2) | Unprofessional Conduct, borderline powergaming. | Strike / 3-Day Suspension |
| High (Class 3) | Severe Corruption, blatant toxicity, leaking documents. | Termination / Department Blacklist |
